How to use
- 1Drop a PDF file or click to choose one.
- 2Rotate single pages with the ↻ / ↺ buttons under each thumbnail, or select several pages and rotate them together.
- 3Use “Rotate all pages” to turn the whole document by the same angle.
- 4Create the rotated PDF and download it.
Permanent and lossless
Rotating in a PDF viewer often only changes the view — reopen the file and the page is sideways again. This tool writes the rotation (the page’s Rotate entry) into the PDF itself. Page content is not redrawn or turned into an image, so text stays selectable and quality and file size are practically unchanged.
When it helps
Typical cases are documents scanned sideways with a phone, reports with landscape tables, pages fed upside down through a scanner and slide hand-outs with mixed orientation. If only a few pages are wrong, select just those; the rest stay as they are.
Privacy
Thumbnails are rendered with pdf.js and the rotation is applied with pdf-lib, both running locally and loaded only after you choose a file. Nothing is uploaded. Password-protected PDFs can’t be edited — remove the password first with our unlock PDF tool.
Frequently asked questions
Can I rotate just one page of a PDF?
Yes. Click ↻ or ↺ under that page, or tick it and use “Rotate selected”.
Does rotating reduce quality?
No. Only the page orientation flag changes; the content is not recompressed.
Will the rotation stay when I open the PDF elsewhere?
Yes. The tool uses the standard PDF page rotation that all common viewers respect. Make sure you open the newly downloaded file.
Can I rotate a password-protected PDF?
Not directly. Remove the password first (you need to know it), then rotate.
