Domain and DNS checks
A Whois lookup shows a domain’s registrar, registration and expiry dates and name servers; it is the first stop before buying, renewing or transferring a domain. The DNS lookup tool lists A, AAAA, MX, CNAME, TXT and NS records. If a site still shows the old server after you changed hosting, checking the DNS records tells you whether the change has propagated yet. How long that takes depends on the TTL value of each record, so lower it before a planned move.
Is your email landing in spam?
The SPF and DMARC checker reads your domain’s email authentication records and highlights missing or broken configuration. Mailbox providers such as Gmail and Outlook increasingly require SPF, DKIM and DMARC from bulk senders. A common mistake is publishing more than one SPF record; all sending services must be combined into a single SPF record, otherwise validation can fail completely. After fixing a record, wait for propagation and run the checker again to confirm the result.
Your own connection and device
The what is my IP tool shows your public IP address, approximate location and internet provider. If you use a VPN or proxy you will see the VPN server’s address instead, which is a quick way to confirm the VPN is working. The MAC address lookup identifies a network card’s manufacturer from the first part of its address, which helps you recognise unknown devices in your router’s list. The screen resolution tool reports the real pixel size of your screen and browser window.
