Private by design
The conversion happens entirely in your browser with the open-source pdf-lib library, which is loaded only when you add a file. Your images are not uploaded to any server, which makes the tool suitable for ID copies, receipts, contracts and other sensitive documents.
Choosing a page size
A4 (210 × 297 mm) is the standard in the UK, Europe and most of the world; Letter (8.5 × 11 in) is used in the US and Canada. Pick one of these if the PDF will be printed or attached to a form. “Fit to image” makes each page exactly the size of its picture — best for photos or slides viewed on screen. A margin adds white space around each image, and the orientation setting switches between portrait and landscape pages.
Tips for scanned documents
Photograph documents in good, even light and crop them before converting so pages look clean. If the resulting PDF is too large to email, shrink the photos first with an image compressor — very high-resolution phone photos are the main cause of oversized PDFs. To make the text searchable, run the images through an OCR tool.
